Managing Partner
René co-founded MG Partners in 2018. Growing up in a family business, he gained firsthand experience in all aspects of entrepreneurship. He worked in private equity for five years at HAL Investments, where he was responsible for several investments as well as an international buy&build. René holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry from Utrecht University.

Partner
Marvin has twenty years of private equity experience. Before joining MG Partners, he was an Investment Director at investment bank Kempen & Co, where he was co-responsible for the private equity investment fund within Kempen Capital. He started his career at the Private Equity participation team of Van Lanschot Bankiers, where he invested in many beautiful Dutch SME companies. Marvin also grew up in an SME entrepreneurial family.
He holds a master’s degree in Business Economics from VU University Amsterdam.

Investment Director
Jordy has more than 10 years of private equity and M&A experience. Before joining MG Partners, Jordy was Investment Manager at Quadrum Capital, where he was responsible for several buy&build platform companies. He started his career at ING Bank Corporate Finance and M&A.
Jordy holds a Masters degree from the University of Amsterdam.

Investment Manager
Gijs Romer began his career at ABN AMRO, working at Capital A Investment Partners and later as an investor at the ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund. There, he completed various private equity investments, particularly in the energy transition and circularity markets.
He holds a double master’s degree in Financial Economics and Financial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Senior Associate
Dennis Korver comes from an entrepreneurial family. After gaining experience at Lindenaar & Co and Van Deursen Participations, he joined MG Partners to further develop his expertise in investments.
Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from VU Amsterdam and a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Analyst
Lennart Stibbe holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a master’s degree in Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During, in between, and after his studies, he gained experience as a financial intern and worked at Photon Capital as a private equity specialist.

Investment Manager
Tim has more than 7 years of private equity and M&A experience. In recent years, Tim has been closely involved in the growth and buy-and-build of various portfolio companies at Quadrum Capital, active in sectors such as healthcare and B2B-services. Tim will be proactively seeking add-ons for our existing portfolio and new platform investments.

Analyst
Bram Knoop obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He subsequently gained relevant experience in both corporate finance and private equity. He began his career at CFI, a corporate finance boutique, where he acquired valuable insights into mergers and acquisitions across various industries. He then completed an internship at Quadrum, where he was involved in investment processes and portfolio management.

Senior Associate
Thomas Ghebrehiwet started his career at J.P. Morgan, where he advised a diverse range of clients across various Asset Classes. He then worked as an investor at Capital A Investment Partners (formerly ABN AMRO Participaties), where he made several private equity investments and led buy-and-build strategies across different sectors in the Benelux region. Thomas holds a Master’s in Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Investment Manager
Henri Beverdam is an Investment Manager at MG Partners, with over five years of experience in private equity. After completing internships, including one at Macquarie Capital in London, Henri became closely involved in the international buy-and-build growth strategy of various Dutch portfolio companies in the software sector, as well as successful exit processes, on behalf of Main Capital Partners. At MG Partners, Henri focuses on identifying new platform investments and add-ons for the existing portfolio.

Intern
Susanne Athmer has joined our Investment Team as an intern. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Finance & Investments at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Previously, Susanne gained experience at Squarefield, where she supported the team with transactions and market analysis in the Food & Agri sector. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge and gaining hands-on experience within the investment team at MG Partners.

Intern
Marius Voskuilen has joined the Investment Team at MG Partners as an intern. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Finance & Investments at Erasmus University Rotterdam and has previously gained experience at SPA Capital. At MG Partners, he looks forward to further specializing in private equity and applying his knowledge in practice by contributing to new investment opportunities.

Intern
Thijs van der Brugghen is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Economics and Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam. During his studies, he gained experience at Orangeland Capital, a search fund, where he was involved in deal sourcing. Since 2025, he has been strengthening the MG Partners team as a deal origination intern, where he is further developing his skills in private equity and gaining experience in investment analysis.
