ESG

ESG integration

MG Partners is increasingly embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its investment strategies. Our focus is on raising awareness, establishing frameworks, and identifying opportunities to create long-term sustainable value by integrating ESG considerations into decision-making and business operations:

Developing an internal ESG policy aligned with industry standards such as SFDR.

Defining key ESG focus areas based on our investment strategy and industry specialisation.

Integrating ESG risk and opportunity assessments into our investment screening process.

Identifying red flags (e.g. regulatory risks, carbon footprint, supply chain vulnerabilities) before making investments.

Using ESG checklists and scoring models to assess potential portfolio companies.

Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR)

The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) is an EU regulation designed to enhance transparency in sustainable investing and prevent greenwashing. It establishes industry-wide standards for how financial market participants, including private equity firms, disclose sustainability-related information.

Our goal is to improve transparency, integrate ESG factors into investment decisions, and direct capital flows towards sustainable assets wherever possible.
